August Event To Focus On Data Platforms In Agriculture

Jul 14, 2015

Farmers who are able to collect, analyze, and act upon their own field data are more productive and make better field decisions, a fact that’s reinforced by the exponentially growing range of data platforms being offered in the agriculture market. The options are endless, from large, single provider platforms designed to bring everything together under one roof, to a component approach with mix and match parts that growers and service providers can put together.

Understanding the options, what’s working, and what is ahead for agricultural data is the subject of a one-day forum and networking session titled, “Data Platform Solutions: Putting Knowledge to Work.” It is scheduled for August 31, 2015, at the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign, IL.

The meeting is the first in the PrecisionAg Innovation Series of events that will explore important, compelling and game-changing topics driving precision agriculture.

Moderating the event along with PrecisionAg Executive Editor Paul Schrimpf will be two noted consultants in agriculture: Lisa Prassack of Prassack Advisors; and Jim Budzynski of Macrogain Partners. Along with presentations and networking, panels representing manufacturers, retailers, consultants and farmers will shed light on the current state of, and projected future of data platforms in agriculture.
