BASF announced the release of the new web-based farm management tool: Compass Grower Advanced.

BASF News

The new tool is the only web-based farm management solution, with a fully integrated accounting platform, which allows growers to combine crop, financial and grain marketing management data into one central solution. Compass Grower Advanced, developed by Affinity Management Ltd., a Microsoft®certified partner who created the tool on a Microsoft-based platform, helps growers make more informed and efficient decisions by providing customized reports on field history, yield history and profit analysis.

“Agriculture is changing, operations are getting larger and growers are planning earlier,” said Robert McAuley, Customer Relationship Manager, BASF Canada. “BASF is committed to working with growers to provide solutions that help them better manage their business. Compass Grower Advanced is an example of this commitment.”

Compass Grower Advanced is a complete farm management solution allowing growers full control of their farm data. Growers who use the tool will have the capability to track crop inputs, production costs, crop pricing, scouting, soil tests and yield targets. The tool also allows for GIS/GPS mapping, equipment data integration, inventory tracking, crop budgeting and grain contract tracking.

The tool, which is available on desktops and all mobile devices, allows growers to see their data in real time using an easy to learn and navigate interface. Data is securely stored in the cloud allowing growers to use the program on multiple devices.

The Affinity Management team provides user training and one-on-one support to help growers get the most out of the tool.
