Berry growers and small fruit farmers can learn production tips from nationally known small-fruit crops experts including those with Ohio State University's College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, in two new publications designed to offer growers tips on best practices in fruit production.

The 2014 Midwest Small Fruit and Grape Spray Guide is now available for $11.85 and the Midwest Blueberry Production Guide is $20, both of which can be purchased at the Ohio State University South Centers in Piketon.

The publications offer farmers key growing tips and include information from Ohio State University Extension specialist Gary Gao, who is also an associate professor of small fruit crops at OSU South Centers, and from Mike Ellis, a plant pathologist with the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center.

OSU Extension and OARDC are the outreach and research arms, respectively, of the college. The South Centers are also a part of the college.
