Broiler Chicken Research

A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Alberta shows that broiler chickens are not only larger than chickens of past decades, but also have better feed efficiency. Martin Zuidhof, associate professor of agricultural science at the University of Alberta and academic leader at the Poultry Research Centre, says three lines of chickens were used.
