2015 PrecisionAg Innovation Series on Data Platform Solutions

Ag technology entrepreneurs, professionals, agronomists and farmers will come together on August 31st in Champaign, IL, to share experiences, new farm software platforms and discover a path forward. This event is the first in the PrecisionAg Innovation Series of events that will explore important, compelling and game-changing topics driving precision agriculture.

Prassack Advisors, a consulting and independent research firm that specializes in achieving business and operational value at the intersection of agriculture, big data and the Internet of Things, today announced that President, Lisa Prassack, will co-chair the 2015 PrecisionAg Innovation Series on Data Platform Solutions, with Jim Budzynski of MacroGain Partners. The event will be held on August 31st at the I Hotel in Champaign, Illinois just prior to the Farm Progress Show.

This one-day content packed event addresses best practices and emerging trends in functional data platforms from more than 20 agriculture manufacturers, retailers and data companies through panel discussions and networking opportunities. For 2015, the focus will be on how to partner to create seamless, functional data platforms that eliminate friction points in order to deliver tangible business outcomes for today's agriculture business.

Prassack will moderate three of the sessions (1) Growers: Successes, Pain Points, and What’s Next (2) Ag Retail Data Platform Players and Partners Panel and (3) Farmer Facing Data Platforms. The panels will be focused on what is working today in data in the farm supply chain and what we need for next action decisions and real outcomes.
