Damian Mason says pro GMO versus anti – GMO is a rich person’s debate. After all, they’re protesting GMO’s in Vermont and Europe, not Rwanda or Haiti where people are starving. Rich, well fed people love to say they “care about the things they put in their bodies” whereas poor people just want fed. Opposing GMO technology is arrogant in that regard. It’s also ignorant to disregard scientific advancement. Unfortunately, modern society has proven it will fall for pretty PR over scientific fact — remember Playboy bunny Jenny McCarthy’s anti- childhood vaccine crusade?
