Meat Grading Tools

Prospective meat grading tools being developed at the University of Alberta could be a real boost for smaller processors and abattoirs in Alberta. Dr. Heather Bruce, associate professor in the Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Science department at the university says the technology will provide quick measurements and estimate the quality of beef all in a handheld tool.
