The latest UNL drought monitor shows nearly 92% of Nebraska remains in some form of drought, with the severest forms in the western half of the state. Karla Jenkins, UNL Extension cow/calf and range specialist, talks about why farmers and ranchers may be forced to feed cattle in confinement because of back-to-back dry years.
