Video: Weather Threatens South Texas Crops

An El Nino weather pattern calls for continued rain and cooler-than-normal temperatures for extreme South Texas. That's usually good news for the area, but too much of a good thing is starting to cut in on the potential yields and profits of cotton and sugarcane growers who desperately and quickly need warm, sunny days. To avoid losses, cotton needs to be planted and sugarcane needs to be harvested asap.
