While my wife cried and I had to look away. These things are not just invented for the talk, not all have done all that but I have seen farmers who were that generous of their time and trouble for neighbors in trouble. Thanks to Dodge for sharing this with us, they can be proud.
I too would like to have a copy of the words, it isn't anywhere near the delivery of Paul Harvey but it woul be mid to have them when you want to share it and you don't have a computer.

"This next arrived unsigned in my mailbag. I've tried but cannot trace its source. A farmer, perhaps; more likely a farmer's wife. I've embellished the essay in places and cropped it in others but I hope the sense of it remains intact."

My guess is you can use it as long as you are not claiming it or making money from it. It is repeated many places with attribution given and I think I recall P Harvey saying that about other pieces of his, just give him credit. I do miss him on the radio!
