drones on farms

Report this Message
I have a new business "drone australia" advising farmers of the potential use of drones in their business. Its my passion and I would be pleased to read of the experience any farmers worldwide who have used or are considering using drones on the farm. There is a lot of negative views as to drone use which I will also receive.
So my post is a mix of commercial and personal interest.
cheers and thanks for having me ... Martin

The potential of UAVs is mind boggling .

My interest is not only from a farming perspective , but the ability of these machines would be suited to emergency services , in particular firefighting . The machine I'm interested in is the Precision Hawk. Features like LiDar , multi spectral and hyper spectral sensing , with infrared , terrain mapping and others . Maps produced , I'm hoping could be downloaded onto GPSs .

From a farming perspective , the country I live on can only benefit from remote sensing
