This newest addition to the coulter lineup from Yetter Manufacturing slices through the toughest residue with a high-strength steel arm that fits tightly between a twin-arm mounting bracket. The innovative design of the mounting bracket utilizes stops to prevent the coulter from moving on the frame. The 2900-series coulter also has a flexible vertical range of adjustment. The ultra narrow-profile coulter is designed with a spring mechanism that, in tough conditions, gives a momentary boost in down pressure to allow the blade to continue cutting. The spring ensures constant down pressure is maintained and cushions the assembly to prevent damage from rocks and other obstructions. A smart and versatile investment, the narrow-profile coulter from Yetter Manufacturing can be mounted to align with the center of the row unit, or off to one or both sides of the row unit. In addition, the 2900-series coulter can be operated at a relatively high speed—depending on the operation, conditions, and blade style. This saves producers valuable time. The field-proven coulter hub has a larger bolt pattern and ensures that operating shock loads are evenly distributed. The heavy-duty, gusseted hubs and spindles with tapered roller bearings also feature triple-lip grease seals, a grease zerk, and strong, grade-five bolts. |
