Jordy Nelson is one of the premier receivers in the NFL, catching passes from Aaron Rodgers as part of the offense for the Green Bay Packers.

Before hauling in touchdowns, Nelson would put in 12-hour days at his family’s farm in Riley, Kansas, and to this day goes back to the farm in the offseason to drive a combine or work with cattle.

In an interview with ESPN, Nelson said he thinks of himself as more of farmer than football player.

Nelson credits the discipline and hard work he learned on the farm as tools that have prepared him for life in football.
