Pest Manager
The Pest Manager app, which was created by Grain Farmers of Ontario, is a great tool to use for discovering pest types and treatment methods for each. The app includes diseases, weeds, and insects; the management methods are available for soybean, corn and cereal crops. This tool will help in the identification and general information for each pest type. Currently, the management methods available only include pesticide treatments; however, other management options such as cultural control will be added to the newer versions. Note that the information provided on this app is only valid for Ontario, and when using pesticides always be sure to read and follow the labels and warnings. This app is free to download and is available for iOS operating systems.
