Ips Beetle A Major Threat To Georgia Pine Trees

Extreme drought in North Georgia and in other parts of the state not only put a lot of stress on traditional row crop farms, but it also put a lot of stress on Georgia's forestlands. The Monitor’s Mark Wildman traveled to Floyd County where Ips beetles are causing forest land owners to lose many acres of pine trees.
