Video: Wheat Grower Survey

Today we see that agriculture already has eyes on the 2018 Farm Bill. It's been a very tough go for the nations wheat producers the last few years and having safety nets in times of low commodity prices is essential. Currently, the National Association of Wheat Growers is working with USDA to make sure wheat producers have their voices heard in Farm Bill negotiations by participating in a quick 15 minute survey that you may receive in the mail or by email. Gordon Stoner President of NAWG and Outlook, MT farmer relayed the importance of the surveys with the Northern Ag Networks Lane Nordlund. Gordon also added that producers need to be in contact with their local FSA offices to be aware of Loan Deficiency Payments.
