Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show Preparations Underway and Deadlines Approaching

April 9, 2014 – The team behind Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show (COFS) is finishing its winter trade show promotional events this week and will now be in full preparation mode for this year’s event. After all, today marks exactly five months until COFS officially opens on Tuesday September 9, 2014.

“Our team really enjoys the ‘off season’ and the opportunity that agricultural industry events give us to reconnect with not only farmers but exhibitors as well,” says Stefanie Nagelschmitz, Farm Show Team Lead and Communications for COFS.

This week the COFS team is attending two such events.  In Toronto, the COFS team is exhibiting at All-Energy Canada which is a new event focused on renewable energy solutions for Canadian homes, businesses and farms.  For more information, visit www.all-energy.ca.  Further West in London, the COFS team is also exhibiting at the London Poultry Show this week too.

Once these events are finished the COFS team’s focus will shift entirely on preparations and projects for September.  One of those projects includes the new look for the Official Show Guide.

Exhibitors don't want to miss the chance to participate in the newly redesigned COFS Official Show Guide and take advantage of the new magazine format. The Official Show Guide reaches thousands of important COFS attendees because it is inserted into the Ontario Farmer newspaper at the end of August. In addition to its new magazine format for 2014, exhibitors can place an ad in the Show Guide’s new Marketplace section for only $449 plus tax. If booked before April 30th, these 1/6 page ads only cost $399 plus tax. For more information contact Amanda Macfarlane at amanda@canadasoutdoorshows.com or Ontario Farmer’s Kevin Lord at kevinlord@rogers.com.

April also marks the approaching deadlines for exhibit space contracts as well as payment.  For exhibitors wishing to rent a larger exhibit space or perhaps move locations, COFS Exhibitor Sales and Demonstration Coordinator Paul Roper is already taking requests.  To reach Paul, email paul@canadasoutdoorshows.com to discuss any adjustments or upgrades to exhibit space.

“There is no question the excitement is starting to build,” says Nagelschmitz. “After the recent announcement of our field demonstration line-ups and while travelling to industry events we have had a great response so far to what’s in store. I’m confident that as we continue to reveal more new products and demonstrations, the excitement will continue growing.”

As the agricultural industry event calendars clears with the wrapping up of shows like All-Energy Canada, the COFS team looks forward to preparing for another a successful edition of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show this fall.
