Beck's Precision Ag Tool Receives Ag Data Transparency Evaluator Seal

When it comes to precision agriculture technologies, farmers not only want complete control of their data, they want a tool that's secure, private and easy to understand. Beck's isproud to announce that it's precision farming tool, FARMserver, has been awarded the Ag Data Transparency Evaluator (ADTE) seal for privacy and transparency.

This seal confirms that the contract between farmers and their subscription to FARMserver is transparent and easy to understand. Users can be confident knowing that Beck's is upfront and honest with their belief that farmers own the raw data generated on their farms. With FARMserver, all of the data generated by farmers is housed on private and secure servers that is only accessible to the account owner.

"We know that one of the biggest concerns farmers have when evaluating precision ag tools for their operation is who controls the data," said FARMserver Technical Lead Craig Rogers. "That's why we developed a tool that farmers could trust and have complete confidence in using on their farm. Not only are we proud to offer a product that puts famers in complete control of their data, but we're excited FARMserver received the ADTE seal which reinforces the trust farmers have placed in our product."

The Ag Data Transparency Evaluator is backed by a group of farm industry groups, commodity organizations and ag technology providers. Their goal is to ensure the contracts between precision ag technologies, their providers, and the farmers are straightforward as to what data is being collected, who owns it, and who ultimately has access to it.

Developed with the farmer in mind, FARMserver is a secure, online, web-based solution that gives farmers complete control of their data. Simplifying precision agriculture, FARMserver collects farm data in one spot, making it easy to use, share and apply across their operation.
