Commodity Marketing Update For Grains And Dairy Set For December 16

Farm producers are invited to participate in a live or online commodity market update on Dec. 16, 2014, in Sandusky, Michigan.

Farm producers can take part in a live or online commodity market update set for Tuesday, Dec. 16, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The live session will take place at the new location for the Sanilac County, Michigan State University Extension office at 171 N. Dawson, Sandusky, MI 48471 in the second floor meeting room.

This live online program is hosted by MSU Extension district farm business management educator Dennis Stein. Individuals or groups that would like to participate in this live presentation can register for free online.

Registered individuals will be sent necessary login information for the live broadcast. Following the live session, a link to the recorded version of the program will be available to all registrants so you can watch the event when it fits your schedule.

Featured presenter MSU commodity marketing specialist Jim Hilker will cover the grains market update about 10 a.m. Second presenter MSU commodity marketing and dairy specialist Chris Wolf will cover the dairy market update about 10:45 a.m. In addition, Stein will cover current topics related to farms in Michigan’s Saginaw Valley area.
