Farmers can now register online for Alabama Extension’s 2014 Corn and Wheat Short Course at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center Dec. 15-16.
Workshops will cover grain marketing strategies; irrigation scheduling; nutrient, weed, pest and disease management; and climate outlooks.
“We have an excellent group of speakers, just as we did last year,” Extension Grain Specialist Brenda Ortiz said. “We are excited for the valuable learning opportunities they offer our attendees.”
Continuing education units will be offered for nutrient management; soil and water management; integrated pest management; crop management; and professional development. Pesticide units will also be available.
