Cruzen to Lead New Business Development for Mathews Company

Crystal Lake, IL, (AgPR), May 28, 2015 – Mathews Company (M-C), a global manufacturer of grain dryers, recently announced that Jeff Cruzen will assume the role of Business Development Manager. Currently dedicated to international sales, his expanding role will lead him to work closely with M-C’s senior leadership and the sales and marketing team to form strategic plans that will develop a pipeline of new business opportunities for Mathews Company.
Cruzen will be focusing his efforts in three primary areas: Expanding global brand awareness to increase international sales; Targeting and forming strategic partnerships in the grain handling and storage industry; Dryer dealer recruitment in areas where M-C has limited representation.

Cruzen has more than 31 years of experience, primarily in agricultural sales and service, and a total of 17 years with Mathews Company. “My whole life has been in agriculture,” says Cruzen. “I have a deep understanding from not only a manufacturing standpoint, but, from the customer’s point of view,” which he says is a unique customer base.  “Understanding these nuances are important in order to match a potential customer’s needs with the right product that will help customers realize maximum profit potential,” says Cruzen.
