Feasibility Study Launched For Proposed Potash Mine Near Craik

Saskatoon-based Gensource Potash Corporation is launching a feasibility study for the proposed Vanguard project, which would be located near Craik.

Gensource wants to develop a small scale potash production model, the first of its kind.

Gensource says the mine would produce 250 thousand tons of potash a year with the use of underground water and energy efficient processes.

The study is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
