Harvest results have so far been outstanding in the US, says the director of marketing for CWB.
Neil Townsend says there have been some really strong yields on the corn front, while good results are also expected for soybeans.
Townsend says it will be very difficult to see any sustained upward movement in prices.
"Prices are pretty low right now," he said. "They might even struggle and go down a bit further when US harvest pressure really hits the market."
He adds there is lots of choice of who to buy grains and oilseeds from, especially for customers overseas.
Townsend adds that it is probably going to be a tough marketing year in 2014-2015 to really see prices rebound to where they were in the past few marketing years.
