Hannam new manager at Rural Ontario Institute

Guelph, Ontario - Rebecca Hannam has recently joined the staff of the Rural Ontario Institute (ROI) as Manager, Communications and Fund Development. Hannam holds a degree in agricultural business from the University of Guelph and previously worked for RBC Royal Bank. “I am thrilled to be joining the ROI team,” says Hannam. “Developing leaders and championing issues is vital to a strong rural Ontario and I look forward to contributing to the success of the organization.”
Replacing Arlene Warner in the role, Hannam will be sharing the work of ROI with agricultural and rural audiences as well as creating and maintaining sponsorship partnerships to support the delivery of leadership programming and advancement of rural issues.

Chief executive officer Rob Black is delighted that Hannam has joined the team and says, “Rebecca’s knowledge and skills will certainly complement and add to the organization’s current staff resources as she brings experience in agricultural communications and rural community involvement to ROI.” ROI is a non-profit organization committed to developing leaders, initiating dialogue, supporting collaboration and promoting action on issues and opportunities facing rural Ontario.
