Over 75 dairy beef producers attend the one day short course, which focused on raising dairy beef by providing educational information on several topic areas.
The I-29 Dairy Outreach Consortium (consisting of SDSU, U of M, ISU, NDSU and UNL Extension Services; the Iowa State Dairy Association, South Dakota Dairy Producers Association, and the Southwest Minnesota Dairy Profit Group) hosted the short course as part of their “Moo-University” education venue. The Dairy Beef Short Course was held March 24th as part of the pre-Central Plains Dairy Expo educational opportunities for producers and industry.
