The newly formed Manitoba Wheat and Barley Growers Association (MWBGA) has announced the hiring of Lori-Ann Kaminski to provide research planning and project management support.
Kaminski has worked in the field of research and research funding administration for much of her career.
She'll be working with Brent VanKoughnet of Agri Skills Inc., who's been on contract with MWBGA over the last 18 months to launch the new organization and provide strategic leadership as the group builds capacity to serve Manitoba producers' research and market development interests.
Kaminski and VanKoughnet will be on hand at the organization's first Annual General Meeting taking place February 18th in Winnipeg in conjunction with the CropConnect conference.
