Pantego, NC, (AgPR), June 12, 2015 -- AutoProbe Technologies, LLC, manufacturers of the AutoProbe automated soil sampler, names NC Ag Services, Inc. of Pantego, NC their North Carolina Distributor.  David Butcher, NC Ag Services, Inc. says, "Maximizing crop profits, especially in lean times, starts with precision soil sampling. The AutoProbe consistently provides the highest reliability and precision. They're the right combination of automation and human supervision and interaction resulting in the best soil samples. Good soil sample analysis data is the foundation for producing the highest yields.

"In addition to providing AutoProbe automated soil sampling services to farmers we're excited to also be the first in our area to sell and service AutoProbes," Butcher says. "We'll provide training and support, too." Orders are now being taken for Fall delivery," Butcher concludes.

Jeff Burton, President, AutoProbe Technologies, LLC says, "Everything begins with the soil. And, all cropping decisions from nutrients to seed are determined by the soil test analysis. Sophisticated soil sampling offered by the AutoProbe insures more cores per sample. It's just common sense the more cores you include per sample, the better quality results achieved.

"We're excited about our relationship with NC Ag Services, Inc.," Burton continues. "David offers what today's growers need to compete in a market with thinner margins. Variable rate fertilizer application and variable population and hybrid seeding are being employed to maximize yield and optimize profit, but it all begins with the most accurate soil samples. Otherwise it's 'Garbage In. Garbage out.' AutoProbe sampling technology provides what growers are looking for in today's competitive landscape. AutoProbe Technologies is honored to be represented by this company in the North Carolina market and beyond."

About AutoProbe Technologies, LLC

Grower Inspired. Third generation Arkansas farmer Jim Burton pulled soil samples manually on his family's farm and never cared much for the time consuming, labor intensive work. He knew there had to be a better way to collect quality soil data. With a degree in Agricultural Engineering and 35 years of day-to-day farming experience, Burton set out to find a better way to collect high quality soil data.

Born in the Delta. His first prototype, named Opel, was completed in 2002. He spent the next six years refining and carefully adjusting the design and in 2008 the AutoProbe was given top new product honors at the World Ag Expo. The following Fall, AutoProbe was put to test in the Mississippi Delta from the Missouri down through southern Louisiana collecting thousands of cores and impressing soil labs at every stop.

Development continued in the Midwest. Soon AutoProbe™ had attracted industry attention from the largest of Ag Retailers, Seed Companies and Equipment Dealers with all offering AutoProbe™ soil collection as an integral component of their branded precision programs. Since 2008 nearly a million acres have been sampled for growers in 24 different states. AutoProbe continues to grow its distribution channels and in satisfied customers with the most sophisticated soil sample ever collected.

Now AutoProbe™ is available for purchase. For more information about AutoProbe Technologies, LLC visit www.AutoProbe.ag.
