The province confirms there is another case of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus in a hog barn here in Southeastern Manitoba.
It has been reported in a sow barn at an undisclosed location. Manitoba's Chief Veterinary Office reports control measures were immediately implemented to prevent any further spread of the virus. This brings to nine the number of cases of PED virus in Manitoba in the past two and-a-half years.
