OBA responds to CHC criticism

The following letter was sent to the board of the Canadian Honey Council on Friday following an unexpected and disappointing public statement from the Chair of the CHC posted in the August issue of HiveLights in which he calls for the resignation of OBA. OBA regrets this public skermish and would have preferred a civil conversation and attempt to find common ground. However, the public and widely disseminated statement from CHC which contained misleading and inaccurate statements, we felt, needed to be corrected to all those who may have read it. We hope that the CHC will move quickly to address this unwarranted and unsanctioned attack on a member in good standing.
