Ponsonby Public School Receives Grant from DuPont Pioneer

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -  The Ponsonby Public School is pleased to announce that DuPont Pioneer donated $ 2,000 as part of its Full Belly! Full Mind! initiative that supports nutrition and breakfast programs across Canada. 
 
The grant will be specifically used to purchase food for the morning snack programs offered to 177 junior kindergarten to grade 6 students at the School. Melinda and Steve Lake, Pioneer sales representatives from Elora, Ontario endorsed the grant.
"We have made this donation as we understand the importance for our children of starting each day with a nutritious meal for a bright and successful future," says Jim Coffey, account manager, DuPont Pioneer.
 
"It is our goal to ensure that students' bodies and minds are well nourished. We do that by providing healthy food and educating children on ways to eat healthy," say Melinda Lake, parent volunteer on behalf of the morning snack program and a Pioneer sales rep. "We thank DuPont Pioneer for their generosity."
