Public invited to weigh in on agricultural plan for Ontario County

The plan promotes growth and development of agricultural businesses within the county.
 
The draft of an updated Agricultural Enhancement Plan for Ontario County is available for public review and comment. The plan promotes growth and development of agricultural businesses within the county. The latest version is an update of the original plan adopted by the county Board of Supervisors in 2000.
 
A public Information meeting and open house will take place Monday, Feb. 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Ontario County Safety Training Facility, 2914 County Road 48, in Hopewell (County Road 48 is near Ontario County Complex on County Road 46).
 
The draft plan is available for review at all public libraries in Ontario County and in Canandaigua at Ontario County Planning Department, 20 Ontario St.; Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County, 480 N. Main St.; and Ontario County Soil & Water Conservation District, 480 N. Main St..
