Russia bans Canadian poultry over AI fears

A block has been put on live poultry, hatching eggs, poultry meat and other poultry products that have not undergone heat treatment to 70°C, the report says.

Russia also bans feed additives and second-hand poultry equipment

Rosselkhoznador has also put an embargo on the import of feed additives for poultry together with second-hand equipment that is used for keeping slaughter and processing birds, down and feathers from Oxford County.

Russia wants details of AI spread prevention measures

The veterinary authority has now called on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to inform them of the measures that are being taken to prevent the spread of the disease.
