Saskatchewan Receives Much-Needed Moisture

Parts of southwest Saskatchewan received much-needed moisture during the past couple days.

Shannon Friesen, provincial crops analyst, says the southwest corner had 10 to 25 millimeters of moisture, alleviating some dry soil conditions.

Friesen adds the Cypress Hills had an inch of snow.

She says seeding is four to five per-cent complete in the southwest corner of the province.
