The proposed federal carbon tax is expected to be one of the key issues discussed at the Regina District RM’s convention, which opens Thursday in Regina.
The president of the Regina District Association of RM’s, Carmen Sterling of Weyburn, says farmers are worried about higher costs from the federal carbon tax.
She would like to see some sort of offset credit to farmers for good environmental practices.
