Taking Care Of The Gardener

Join Penn State Extension Master Gardeners in Perry County for a free workshop on “Taking Care of the Gardener and Gardening Tools” on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, at the Perry County Penn State Extension office, 8 South Carlisle Street, New Bloomfield, PA.

Gardening is fun but even more enjoyable when you use the right techniques and tools to stay healthy and safe. At this workshop, learn guidelines from a physical therapist on how to prevent injury while gardening and ensure years of happy gardening. Then, Master Gardener Lois Kriens will share tips on how to select the best gardening tools and take care of those tools for years to come.
 
Everyone is welcome to attend this free program, but pre-registration is requested. Please register online or call the Perry County Extension office at 717-582-5150.
