Tribine Combine Assembly Plant Opeining January 2016

The Newton City Council has unanimously approved the city supporting the site and construction of the first Tribine Harvester, LLC Assembly Plant. The plant will be constructed in The Newton Industrial Park. The city will provide land and tax assistance to Tribine. The 4.7 acre site on Industrial Drive is fully developed and ready for construction which will start soon by Williams Construction Company, Inc.
 
The Newton, Kansas facility will house the engineering and administrative offices of Tribine Harvester, as well as final assembly, testing, and shipping. The 12,600 sq ft facility is on a site with ample room for expansion which is planned as the company grows.
 
Assembly operations will begin in January of 2016.
 
The plant will assemble the innovative TRIBINE Grain Harvester which is a new harvester design from the wheels up. The production Tribine is the first new combine architecture since the 1940s. It carries 1000 bushels of grain, has articulated steering, and full time four wheel drive, coupled with unprecedented throughput of grain.
