From 10 to 14 October 2008 within the context of the Golden Autumn exhibition at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre, Moscow, Russia- new, modern hall available (DLG). Globalisation and the continually growing need for modern agricultural machinery in Russia mean that an innovative specialist exhibition showcasing this sector has to meet some tough demands. The largest platform for agricultural machinery in Russia has taken up this challenge with an extended concept and in a new guise: the agricultural machinery sector featured within the context of the Golden Autumn exhibition at the All-Russian Exhi-bition Centre is now a separate entity under the name of AgroTech Russia, making it one of the leading specialist exhibitions of its kind in Russia. This move creates a specialist plat-form that is geared more closely than before to the needs of the exhibitors, giving it a more target-group-oriented approach. The range of products on show covers the entire gamut of outdoor farming machinery as well as plant production technology.
AgroTech Russia offers exhibitors the chance to present their entire product range to the professional public. The newly commissioned, generously proportioned exhibition hall on site at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre gives exhibitors additional floor space on which to demonstrate their machines in a state-of-the-art setting. By 2012 it is planned to commis-sion a total of around 188,000 square metres of new exhibition space at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre.
At the same time, synergy effects with the Golden Autumn exhibition can be harnessed; this, Russias largest agricultural exhibition, is a global player that
attracts both national and international visitors to the city of Moscow. About 300 exhibitors from 19 countries have registered at AgroTech Russia. A particular highlight is the high number of countries represented with a national pavilion. Companies from 12 countries will be presenting their machinery developments in this section.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation supports the new concept and welcomes the participation of the Russian and international agricultural machinery manu-facturers in AgroTech Russia.
In 2007, some 371 exhibitors presented their agricultural machinery products on 45,000 square metres of exhibition space within the context of the Golden Autumn exhibition. Al-most 66,000 visitors made the most of this opportunity to learn more about the exhibitors products and investment planning.
The new concept and new exhibition hall mean the exhibitors have better conditions for presenting their products and making successful business contacts, which generates posi-tive upshots for visitors, too.
