Claas Adds Two Disco Mowers To The Family Packing A Powerful Performance

(OMAHA, Neb.) The new engineering behind CLAAS triple mower technology offers producers the greatest flexibility and savings for their operation. CLAAS introduces two new products to the DISCO family, the DISCO 9100 Plus and the DISCO 9300C, giving growers optimum ground contour, fuel savings and a clean cut with superior quality.

The DISCO 9100 Plus mower without conditioner stretches the working width capacity to 29’ 3” (less than 13’ 3” transport height) with a low horsepower requirement (150 hp) reducing overall fuel consumption and outreaching the capability of industry competitors. Equipped with independent hydraulic flotation controlled from the monitor and arms mounted in the center of the mower, the DISCO 9100 Plus puts all the control in the producers hands inside the tractor cab. The DISCO 9100 Plus equipped with the DISCO 3100F completes this new CLAAS triple mower package.

Keeping true to the demonstrated technology seen in the DISCO lineup, the 9100 Plus and the DISCO 9300C are equipped with the QUICK KNIFE release system giving growers one-step blade replacement with no need for additional tools. The CLAAS P-CUT cutterbars allow for a perfect cut – even, clean and safeguarded by SAFETYLINK® technology.

The addition of the DISCO 9300C with its tine conditioning system has the bi-directional mowing width of 29’ 10” or as a front/rear mounted 29’ 3” mowing width (less than 13’ 3” transport height) extending beyond conventional mowers. With a 225 hp requirement, power and efficiency eliminate unnecessary time in the field. Independent hydraulic flotation is made simple with the arm mounted in the center of the mower – giving producers greater machine maneuverability and control. The DISCO 9300C equipped with the DISCO 3100FC completes this new CLAAS triple mower package.

“With these two new triple mower configurations, CLAAS is delivering flexibility to our growers for every situation. Whether on a bi-directional tractor or standard with front and rear linkage, the DISCO mowers will do the job,” explained Bob Armstrong North American Product Marketing Manager. “Growers know what’s best for their operation and quality, performance and advanced productivity is what CLAAS delivers.”
