John Deere recently introduced its PitStop Pro anhydrous tendering system to help customers quickly and efficiently change anhydrous ammonia tanks without leaving the cab of the tractor. PitStop Pro will be available for use with John Deere 2510H Nutrient Applicators in 2010.
"This revolutionary new tender system sets a new standard in applying anhydrous ammonia fertilizer. It drastically reduces the amount of time it takes to switch from an empty tank to a full tank from about seven minutes down to two minutes. Best of all, the operator never has to leave the comfort of the tractor cab during the entire process," says David Wendt, John Deere product manager.
