VICON’S new sprayer range, dubbed iXter, is said to be the industry’s first fully ISOBUS-compatible mounted sprayer series.
Tractors with ISOBUS 11783 hardware can upload the sprayer’s software and then in conjunction with the Vicon switchbox to control boom sections, can control sprayer and hydraulic functions.
According to Vicon’s Cliff Buck, iXter isn’t purely ISOBUS-dependent and can run with the company’s FLowMate and Focus II systems if desired.
Available in tank sizes of 1,000, 1,300, 1,600 and 1,800 litres, and booms of 15 to 24m in four different versions, iXter sprayers offer a diverse choice.
