Midwest Swine Nutrition Conference

Two keynote addresses will be given at the 10th annual Midwest Swine Nutrition Conference. The first will be  “Perspectives from Washington: Policies impacting animal agriculture” by Lowell Randel who serves as the FASS representative in Washington. The second will be “NIR of feedstuffs and enhancement of NIR for prediction of nutrient availability” by Dr. John Black from Australia. Other timely and important topics include environmental monitoring research, Salmonella and gut health, results from a multi-university study with vomitoxin in nursery pig diets, an update on net energy, amino acids for lactation, and a view into the future in the feed industry.  The conference will be held September 9 at the Indiana Farm Bureau Building, Indianapolis.

This conference is directed toward the feed industry, consulting nutritionists, swine veterinarians, and producers interested in cutting-edge swine nutrition and feeding.
