Video: Sheep Farming: Mayhem On The Farm! /October 2, 2022

At Ewetopia Farms it was total mayhem from the time we walked into the barn this morning until we left the barn tonight. We knew it was going to be a busy day because we were shipping our Suffolk breeding group today and we had people coming to look at rams and we had to bale all the hay we had cut on top of our everyday chores. And all those things happened plus we had five ewes lamb during morning chores which meant setting up temporary pens for lots of them since all our jugs are full again. We did get to see some lamb races as we did chores in the Coveralls which is always fun. We loaded the 38 Suffolk ewes and one ram on a trailer bound for western Ontario. We sold one of our favourite Dorset rams. We made a squeeze pen for the rams once Gladiator was removed from his breeding group and reintroduced to his former ram buddies. We had a ewe and lamb escape the jug. We had the tractor break down. We tattooed a ram and so much more! I hope you'll join us today.
