Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Nov 24, 2017

The week of Nov 20, 2017 saw the price of live cattle end at 124.575. Compared to last week’s ending price of 124.675 the price of live cattle dropped by 0.1%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Nov 20, 2017 when the price was at 123.025.

Between Oct 24, 2017 and Nov 24, 2017 the price of live cattle rose by 0%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 124.525 and have now jumped to 124.575.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2016, the price was at 97.775. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 27.4%.

On Nov 07, 2016, live cattle had its worst day as far as markets go when it was at 96.275.

Live cattle’s total volume for the week was 83390. Its worst performing day came on Nov 24, 2017, when the commodity saw its weekly low of 13790.
