26 CANADA'S FARM SHOW 2026 Regina, SK | Presented by Bunge THE INNOVATOR PROGRAM CELEBRATES THE IMPACT OF INNOVATION IN AG Innovation has always been at the heart of agriculture. From small family-run operations to large-scale farms and agri-businesses, new ideas, tools, and approaches have transformed how food is grown, raised, and delivered. Whether it’s a simple adjustment that improves efficiency on a single farm or a breakthrough technology adopted across the industry, innovation drives progress at every level of agriculture. That is why Canada’s Farm Show Regina, Saskatchewan, presented by Bunge, introduced the Innovator Program in partnership with Farms.com and Greenwave Innovations. Now in its second year, the program recognizes the individuals whose ideas and leadership are helping agriculture adapt, grow, and remain resilient — from the smallest operations to the largest enterprises. The Innovator Program shifts the focus from innovation as a concept to the people behind it. Innovators may be farmers testing new practices on their own land, entrepreneurs developing technologies that scale across regions, or educators and community leaders creating connections between agriculture and the public. Together, their work demonstrates how innovation strengthens agriculture across operations of every size. As the agricultural community gathers at Canada’s Farm Show to prepare for the upcoming growing season, these innovators serve as examples of how collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentorship help ideas move from individual farms to broader industry adoption. What begins as a solution for one operation often becomes a benefit for many. The Innovator Program features four award categories: Emerging Innovator: Recognizes an up-and-coming innovator whose ideas or technologies are helping shape the future of agriculture. 2025 Recipient: Jeremy Matuszewski, President, Thunderstruck Sales and Marketing Visionary Innovator: Celebrates a veteran innovator whose long-standing contributions have influenced agricultural practices across generations and operations of all sizes. 2025 Recipient: Wilf Degelman, founder of Degelman Industries Farmer Innovator: Honours a farmer who adopts and applies new technologies or practices to improve efficiency, sustainability, and productivity in their operation. 2025 Recipient: Colin Roosengren, Roosengren Farms & Co-Founder of Campresso Community Innovator: Acknowledges an individual whose agricultural initiatives, education, or outreach have strengthened connections between farming and the broader community. 2025 Recipient: Sara Shymko, Executive Director, Ag in the Classroom – Saskatchewan Through the Innovator Program, Canada’s Farm Show recognizes how innovation supports agriculture’s ability to do more with less — improving productivity, enhancing sustainability, and supporting both local operations and large-scale food systems. As global demand for food continues to grow, the agricultural industry will increasingly rely on innovators willing to test new ideas, share lessons learned, and collaborate across sectors. The future of farming depends on solutions that work on a single field, across an entire farm, and throughout the agricultural value chain. Each Innovator will be recognized and honoured on Monday, March 17, during the Canada’s Farm Show Welcome Reception. We’re proud to welcome you to #CFS2026 as you prepare for the growing season.
