4-H Ontario Announces New Executive Director

ROCKWOOD, ONT. - The Ontario 4-H Council Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Christine Oldfield will be joining 4-H Ontario as the new Executive Director effective April 6, 2020. 
 
Christine will report to the Ontario 4-H Council Board of Directors and work closely with the Ontario 4-H Foundation and 4-H Ontario staff to develop a new vision for 4-H Ontario while ensuring that nearly 6,000 youth participants and 2,000 volunteers continue to have access to the most comprehensive and high-quality positive youth development programming in the province.
 
Christine has over 15 years of experience in not-for-profit leadership and is extremely involved in her local community.  In addition to holding the position of Executive Director at PIN Network for the past seven years, Christine is also Program Coordinator – Senior Leadership and Management in the Not-For-Profit Sector Program at Conestoga College. She has an extensive background in volunteer management, board governance, youth development, and rural engagement.  She has managed the local and provincial campaigns of the Ontario Volunteer Youth Challenge as well as coordinating youth internship programs through YES. She’s currently involved in research projects with local rural townships on improving volunteer engagement.
