There is no better time than "right now" to get started on certification in Swine Health Management by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP). Start by calling the ABVP at 1-800-697-3583 to request the entrance examination application, due January 15, 2013. The exam will be administered Saturday morning, March 2, at the AASV annual meeting in San Diego. After passing the entrance exam, the candidate is eligible to submit credentials and subsequently sit for the qualifying exam to become an ABVP diplomate.
