Agricultural Events Cancelled or Postponed

Agricultural events across the province have been impacted by the recent coronavirus outbreak with many venues, shows, conferences and meetings having to shut down, cancel or postpone their plans. Ontario’s chief medical officer of health recommended the immediate suspension of all large events and gatherings of over 250 people. Below is a list of events that have officially been cancelled or postponed.
 
Ottawa Valley Farm Show – March 17-19 – cancelled
 
Kent Mental Health First Aid Course – March 18-19 – postponed
 
Junior Farmers March Conference – March 20-22 – cancelled
 
Speak Up for Horticulture – Simcoe – March 23 – cancelled
 
Zone 4 (Elgin-Oxford) Director Election ‘Meet and Greet’  – March 23 – cancelled
 
Grain Farmers of Ontario March Classic – March 24 – cancelled
 
Ontario Pork Annual General Meeting – March 24-25 – postponed
 
Speak Up for Horticulture – Vineland – March 25 – cancelled
 
Drayton Farm Show – March 25-26 – cancelled
 
Chicken Farmers of Ontario Annual General Meeting – March 26 – cancelled
