Cattle prices forecast to be on downswing in Saskatchewan

A livestock market analyst is expecting cattle prices for Saskatchewan producers to be showing downward pressure this year.

Anne Wasko of Cattle Trends bases her outlook on lower U.S. prices, trade uncertainty, and dry weather in the southwest.

But she hopes strong demand will limit the downslide.

She says demand both domestic and offshore has been very strong this year.
