Farm equipment sales could take a hit following a tough year for farmers.
Murray Hunter is the sales manager for Western Canada with Plum Coulee-based Mandako.
"There's going to be some delays. It certainly hit their pocketbook," he said. "A lot of these bushels are coming off not dry, so they have added power bills with running fans, running the grain dryers with propane and natural gas and some things that really they weren't preparing for that much to come out of their pocket."
Hunter notes field work in the spring could be a real challenge.
"We have the solution for some of these challenges," he added. "With this wet ground, there's going to be some very wet, rutted up situations...A lot of matted material.
