Prices on feed wheat and barley across the Prairies were variable depending on the availability of new crop.
In Alberta and Saskatchewan, where harvest has started, new crop barley and wheat prices decreased by $20-25/T with feed wheat in Saskatchewan plunging by $55/T.
In Manitoba, where harvest is about to start, barley and wheat prices remained unchanged. Corn pricing meanwhile remained unchanged across the Prairies over the past two weeks.
Corn DDGS prices decreased by $15-20/T in Manitoba and by $5-10/T in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Soybean meal and canola meal prices continued their downward trend, with soybean meal decreasing by $25-35/T across the Prairies and canola meal by $5-10/T.
Feed grade faba beans traded in Alberta and Saskatchewan at $260/T, and $275-285/T in Manitoba. New crop feed peas were trading in Saskatchewan at $230/T.
